Real Cases, Real Results: Our Success Stories

John and Mary Smith were ready to retire and decided to sell their family home of 20 years. They hired a real estate agent to list the property and eventually received an offer from a prospective buyer.

However, upon reviewing the contract, the Smiths realized that the buyer was requesting a significant repair credit due to a problem with the roof. The Smiths were unaware of any issues with the roof and believed the credit was unwarranted.

Feeling overwhelmed and unsure of their next steps, the Smiths decided to seek the help of a real estate attorney. The attorney reviewed the contract and advised the Smiths on their legal options. The attorney also negotiated with the buyer’s agent on behalf of the Smiths and was able to successfully reduce the repair credit request.

Thanks to the guidance of their real estate attorney, the Smiths were able to close on the sale of their home and move on to the next chapter of their lives.
